Powder rooms are primarily meant for usage by the guests at one’s house. I mean it’s easy enough to have a little lavatory right next to your party/living room and have the guests use the same. It doesn’t invade one’s privacy by not taking guests to your bedroom every time and makes much more sense because they are compact and easy to maintain. On the other hand, powder rooms make for great spaces to play design with. They’re small yet powerful places to make statement in front of your guests.
PRO TIP: KEEP IT SHORT! DO NOT over clutter by installing big size chandeliers/lights. Play with elements such as mosaic, lined wallpapers, fancy mirrors, fancy toiletries etc. DO use candles/diffusers as they add to the aroma massively. Make the space more fancy, add fresh flowers that match the kind of decor you’ve chosen.
