Yes, you read it right. Luxury lovers, now allow your homes to speak of edgy accents, since the high end luxury fashion brand now marks its presence in the world of home decor. Launching this year in September, Gucci’s home decor collection would be called ‘Gucci Decor’ and is expected to be a melange of cushions, chairs, wallpapers, fragrances in the forms of candles and incense and many other home decor related products.
As far as the pictures speak, the collection seen so far renders Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele’s profound love for prints that are a riot of colours and bold designs- edgy to an unimaginable way. According to a press release, “The idea is not to prescribe a particular decorative look, but to provide elements that allow for living spaces to be customised. Michele’s collection of items for interiors is also intended to allow for a flexible and personal approach to decoration, bringing an accent of Gucci’s contemporary romanticism into the home.”
According to the brand’s Instagram handle, velvet cushions in various shapes have been done, featuring their patent motifs like the tiger head, angry cat, snakes etc. It also says: The motifs have been hand applied to the products and it took their expert craftsmen upto 10 hours to do the same.
What I’m excited to see the most is the TIGER cushion. Why? Because I can’t wait to twin the cushion with my shoes. YAY!
